Wickiup reports?

I'm hanging the "Gone Fishing" sign out this week and heading over the pass. Has any one been fishing kokanee at Wickiup or Odell? It's more of a R&R trip but would like to get some kokes for the smoker. Thanks

From the posts and reprts I've heard this year, I'd go to Odell. We had a camp out planned, but stuff came up. We usually go to Wickiup, but I would have gone to Odell with all the good things I've heard. The jiggers have been kill'n 'em (orange buzz bombs). Good luck!

Fished Wickiup weekend before last and it was spotty, however if you are after quality Kokes you will certainly find the ones you do catch there in that catagory. Sunday was our best day out of the 4 we fished and we landed a total of 15 fish. ( about 1/3 maybe of the ones we had on) One 27" -8lb brown and 14 kokes that ran 15-16 1/2 inches. They were all nice fat ones too... :grin:
