if i'm looking for a well known business, i'll go to yahoo.com and usually get it on the first try. if i'm looking for something more obscure, i'll go to google. if i try looking up a major business in google, sometimes you get a lot of pages about the company, but not the link to the company.

This will make your search a little more fruitful:
Add a “+” before the essential words of your search (Be sure to include a space before the '+' sign.)
Add a “-“ before the words you want eliminated from your search.
Put your phrase in quotes. This will ensure the essential words appear and appear in a specific order.

hotbot.com (http://hotbot.com) has an "exact phase" option in the top left drop down which really helps narrow down searchs.

If you need a web site address, go to google.com or any of your other favorite search engines and type in the name for that company.
Most likely, it will appear!
Or, perhaps, if you have seen it already on ifish, you could do a search on ifish for that web site!!! graemlins/idea.gif
