Shad Gil plates??? Over size or Keepers

I would assume all sturgeon will eat shad! graemlins/stupid.gif
So is it worth one's time to use the gill plates in the OC area or say the Kelly Point area for keeper size Sturgeon? :whazzup:
Any success stories?

gills work every where but you never know the size of the fish that will bit them though . :shocked:

If fished with a guide last year and we used sand shrimp and anchovies. They seemed to work real well.
The wife and I are headed down 6/6 to get some fresh fish just want to make sure I have every thing we need.
