Take a look at the shad counts. So far this year 95,000 more shad have passed the Dalles Dam than Bonneville. Sneaky little devils.
Had a great day fishing on the chanel. Actualy only 2 1/2 hours. Caught 19 shad with 3 doubles and lost another 4 at the boat.
I know what you're thinking; "where was he fishing". Welllllll I'm not really sure what you call that place, but there was an island close by.
I tried the barrel swivel and a siwash hook.
I'm sold! I used a Dick Nite and the swivel and hook and they were 1 for 1 for the day. Save your money.
