Nice job, dude! I am sooooo jealous!
Nothing but carp are biting for me in the Willy now. Planning a Clack trip after work tonight. Maybe I'll give you an update later (but only if it's good!)

Oh yes MADWIZERD, some might even call me lucky. You should have seen the dust on the bobber.
Man those eggs are good, and that shrimp oil and yarn combo I think is waht did the trick.
You know I gotta go in the morning now.I'm tuning up the rig as we speak. I'm even gonna try the O dark thirty routine, just to get a few more chances. That in itself is going to be a struggle.
Too bad you're camping  Shoot me an email when you get back.

Needing more of Marie's shrimp oil, I had a trip to the coast planned in the back of my head. That oil is what kept me from getting a good rest last night. That oil is what the "inner voice" demanding me to bobber fish was. That oil is what made me watch 2 crummy latenight movies while re-rigging my rods at 2 am. That oil, along with good eggs is why I left at 4:30 am and returned to Milwaukie by 10 burning a half of tank of gas.
I was late. I didn't get to the spot till after 6:15, and knew the rest of the tide would be very short. Hurrying, I rushed thru the first few casts, keeping an eye out for any sign of fish life. The tide was changing quickly. I had already missed two very hard bobber downs thinking I was hung up. Nope. After a few adjustments which included moving the bobber stop, and tying on some yarn, I was anticipating action.
A fresh gob of AMERMAN eggs , topped with MARIE'S Shrimp Spray ..........DUNK< DUNK< YANK< I'm tangled with my first chinook of the day in less than 20 minutes of fishing. After a short but hearty battle, the 10# buck engages in the dead salmon wiggle, and is placed on the tag.
The gear is battered, so I re-tie on some new yarn, and I repeated the prior sequence. Exactly. Except on thist cast ,I'm rewarded with an excellent fighting 12# buck, which I slide up the beach a mere 15 minutes after tagging my first fish
WOW ! What an hour or so of fishing. I had to take a break and soak it all in. 3 or so hours of total driving for an hours worth of fishing, but I'll take it. Everyone gets to have a day or two once in awhile.
And to think that I was down to my last precious drops of oil. Whew, good thing the fish we cooperative. I'm tempted to lick that bottle clean graemlins/lurk.gif . Many fish have fallen for that stuff, and it's known to cause a few sleepless nights when you're low. Listen to yourself, and go fishing.
And if you haven't tried Amerman eggs, let me say I'm sure glad I didn't miss out on experimenting. That's 3 fish and counting for them, and I'm not even thru the first jar yet ! Marie also sells an outstanding cured egg to accompany her snappy shrimp. And if by chance she's out of shrimp, you can depend on her sprays to get the job done !
Thanks TBC and Amerman eggs, this was a really fun morning.

Thanks Marie for posting my pic. Is there anyone that could help me place it on this thread as well ? Also what are the odds of changing my avatar to this image ? Any help would be much appreciated.

Now how about the avatar thing ? I think I will have to do some down size work if I am correct. Hmm... I'll figure it out.
