Whats your favorite diver bait set up? Want to try this more but would like to find a good terminal set up and bait to go with it. I was thinking that I might try the cured and dyed Prawns with a Spin Glow in front of it pulled down with a Mud Bug. Has any one had success using just a Jet Plane type diver?

I've used the Mud Bug w/ a sand shrimp with success but I mostly use the Jet Divers with eggs or shrimp or both.

Hundreds of fish can't be wrong.

Lilcorky,
I preety much use the jet diver exclusively for my diver and bait set-up for spring chinooks. I rig mine on a sliding 6" dropper and have had very good success with this method. I mostly fish the sandy and the santiams with this set-up and only use the divers that will go down 20ft. I like the sliding dropper set-up because when the fish takes the bait its pulling only on my leader/main line and not against the diver.

Lilcorky,
My favorite diver and bait set up is a Magnum Hot-In-Tot, spin-in-glow and Sandshrimp. Sometimes I'll add eggs to this set up.

Lilcorky, we've been having very good luck on springers in the Yakima river the past couple of weeks. Were using #20 jet divers a 5' leader and a size 8 spin n glo in half & half, 3 small beads and a 3/0 red barbless gamakatsu hook with wad of eggs.
All our takes have been hard, they just crush it.
 Now if the water would clean up we could be back at it.

I use a #30 Jet diver on a 12" dropper rigged sliding. To rig it sliding I use an easy slider made by Ubfishin. I slide thi up my mainline than I slide on a 6mm bead. Then I tie on bead chain. To the bead chain I tie on a 4 and 1/2 to 5 foot leader with a spin-n-glo, size and color to match water conditions. Eggs/sandshrimp cocktail finishes up the rig.

With the way I rig up I can remove the diver and dropper and then add a lighter dropper and lead so I can backbounce with the same rod.
