WOW David thats a fish of a life time coming out off the clack. 2 years ago my dad got a 30# springer out of the clackamas it was 41 1/2" long but only was 30 1/2#.

I have seen alot of posts about how good a guide David is, our what a nice guy he is, but I have never had the opportunity to fish with him.

We fished from daylight and by 7:30 AM we only had 4 to the boat  , including the big hog that was in the 37-38 lb. range.

David is a great guide, but more importantly he is a great person. Thanks David for the fun day.

 Rich, Jon, Harv, Craig

Several years ago on the 4th of July I was present in a boat just downriver from the bulkhead that landed a 38# hatchery fish, which I presume was heading to the Clack as most fish that late in the run are. Damn, was that a slab of meat!

Scott, how did you get your Avatar to do that? You don't even know how to answer your email much less program something that neat.

38#'s!!!!!!!! Ah, that's cut plug material for the fish that I catch.

Awesome job David. Just one question though. How come we did not get one that big when I fished with ya? I should have got a discount dude for those 12 and 14 #ers we got.

Must of got out the extra strong spray for that fish.

The picutes I took are still in the camera on a fresh role. I'll get them developed in a week or so. Then I'll need to get someone to scan them and post them for me, any takers?

C&E- We only caught those "little one's" because I wasn't sure if the crew could handle a hog

I'll do the pic's for you Dave. I would love to put a picture of a large Springer on my computer. I can do what Birdhunter does and change the person holding the fish to ME! No, I wouldn't do that  On second thought, Dave, just to stop me from being dishonest, you better have someone else do those pictures.

Dave, you got to break down and get a cheap digital camera. You get home, download the picture, go to Ifish and boom, there it is. I could not afford an expensive one so I got one from AOL for $180 and it works great. No it doesn't have a telephoto lens but the pictures are not bad. By the way, I appreciate your posts and pictures. You give me some great tips.

While Scott does have the login information for this site, it is his web monkey David who is doing the posting over here. And the creation of his Avatar, of course. I relay information from and to him, as if he responded to posts by the time he got it all pecked out on the keyboard the post would likely be archived. :hoboy:

Oh, and the Avatar is a Flash animation that was converted into an avi which was converted into an animated GIF. Yer head spinnin yet? graemlins/program.gif

Oh brother David, that hurt. I may never be able to fish again. :hoboy: Maybe if you knew where the bigger fish were I could have shown you how to handle a big fish. graemlins/eek13.gif

Just yell out fish on!!!! like Donnie Osmund and yell and scream like a boat load of high school girls at a slumber party.
