Greetings, A couple of days ago the idiots that passed some new regulations for the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers had to recind their votes. Maybe Dorthy helped them find a brain?
We are back to the regular rules of not bait single hooks until July 1st with retention of any fish. Come July 1st open to bait, yahoo! My personal favorite time of year. I lost two last year that we in the range of 60-65 pounds, I am gettin' me one this year.
The Kasilof regs had more to do with guides than anglers, the guides are happy but not some of the sport fisherman on that river.
Alaska airlines is running about $328.00 for round trip fare, what are you waiting for?
Tight lines, Kim

The only thing I am waiting for is the 26th of July to catch my plane. So save some fish and clams for me and my buddies, other wise we will have to beat you in horseshoes, again.

Leaving on summer solstice and coming back on July 5. We originally had an Anchor/Kasilof trip planned for the first week of June, but we decided to do a float plane trip on the Talachulitna river (Mat-Su). 64 river miles by raft, and the lower half contains kings. Can't wait!

Only 39 days left until I leave for Alaska   Get to spend two weeks with Fins, Feathers, and Furs on the Nushagak River out of Dillingham. Awesome camp, all first rate equipment, and an unbelievable run of salmon. Getting excited? Uh, yeah, maybe just a little!
