me and my partner caught 4 steelhead saturday i caught the biggest 14 pounder of the bank on spin glo's but and how would like to know a good sturgeon spot off the bank cause i have no boat around the ranier area any info would be appreciated thanx graemlins/stupid.gif

The way you smoked those steelhead it shouldn't be a problem trading spots with somebody!

caught two more after work 8 pounder and about a 10 pounder not bad fishing for me i didnt do real good on salmon but knock the crap out of the steelhead i dam near have to buy me a new tag how mutch are they?

Maybe I oughtta put away the shad net and start anchoring up in my zipperlip summer hole?

I don't know the area real well, but Trojan is fairly close and the shoreline in that entire area drops off right into the main channel. I'll bet you could find some mighy deep water there.

yeah fishing has treated me well freezer full of fish but no sturgeon

There is a old bardge loading ramp about a mile above Gobel that has great access. I have been pushed out of the hole several time by the bank fishers.
Beeings I'm in a boat now I normally give them the right of way. I fished a long time from the bank and know how it feels to have a boat move into your hole. I have pulled many a fish out of this hole.

I thought I remember hearing something about some good sturgeon spots off the Clatskanie Dike area..you might check into that

thanx for the info i know some great steelhead holes from the the boat would be glad to show someonewith a seat in the boat of course :wink:
