I asked my wife that yearly question again,” What would like for Mothers Day?” She replied with “A nice sunny day and some peace and quite”. Now my mind is really working on this one. I suggested that she could spend the day on the boat with me and enjoy the day by reading her book and I could wet a line. Well she saw right thru that plan. Not as coy as I used to be. She then came up with the greatest plan I couldn’t even imagine, She suggested that if I really wanted to go fishing that I could by myself. I’m thinking GREAT, but I can’t go without you I say. She said she would be fine at home alone. The quite would do her good and she could finish her book their. Then she drops the bomb. She would enjoy a fresh BBQ cedar plank salmon dinner. Now I’m really thinking great. Never has such pressure been placed on a man to perform.
Hope you all have a great mothers day. fishonksm

I had a custom rainshadow salmon rod made for my wife for mom's day! I picked out purple and fuschia colors for the butt wrap and guide wraps, because I wanted everyone to know that this was a "chick rod". The rod turned out great. I presented it to her last Sunday and she promptly caught a nookie.
