On May 18th at the Water Resources Education Center in Vancouver (4600 SE Columbia Way), the City of Vancouver in partnership with Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is having their Sturgeon Festival 2002. This is a family-oriented production with the kids in mind. Best of all it is FREE! There will be a sturgeon Pinata at 1:00 pm and a sturgeon dissection at 1:30. Other stuff is scheduled through the day. It's from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 18th. Check out the website at Sturgeon Festival 2002 (http://www.ci.vancouver.wa.us/watercenter) Great, cheap entertainment and education. Oregon Fish and Wildlife will be there also with a booth for the kids. :cool:
