Hopefully I will be heading to the Columbia for sturgeon tomorrow. In the past I have put in at Rooster Rock, and fished the area around there. Several posts indicate that the fishing is good between the Fishery and the dam. If I put in at the Fishery ramp, where do I fish from there? And is fresh smelt still the go-to bait right now?
I plan to bring the salmon tackle also. What water is good for springers up there in the same area?
