Well I started out for Salmon then changed to Sturg and back to Salmon. The Sturg bite was ok and I had one brake off on the hook set, 1 hr later got a 43" fatty and my hook back :grin: . Man did this fish fight, I was using my Keni King and it worked just fine. It took 20 min to get him in. Went back to Salmon fishing and saw a few jump next to the boat and also saw a Sealion working the area, ended up with 1 sturg and 0 Salmon. Good day on the river :smile:

Way to go fishalot at least you got some meat for the freezer. I think that fishing for sturgeon with the salmon rod is the only way. It's a blast to fight them that way. :cheers:

Thank you for the reply to my post :smile: I Was told you had a good time over East. I'm sure you are ready to get after the Springers again or I might just have to show you my Sturgeon hot spot :tongue: . I might be out in the later afternoon with Rod tomorrow. I think it's time he catches a fish, I might have to hand my rod off to him :wink: .Looking forword to fishing with you again.

Desperate people do desperate things there Fishin Eddie. Fish a lot, just refuse to take the rod out of the holder and it will drive Rod mad. At least Rod can catch a cold anyways.

I'm not to sure about that CATCH and EAT yesterday I watched him look at a pumpin rod for more time then I could stand :shocked: . He was bring a good host to a new guy on the boat. The new guy did jump up and stand next to the rod, finally Rod tells him to get it. Fish got off at the boat a little later.
I do think Rod was thinking about taking the rod out of the holder and handing it to the guy :grin:

Nice job on the sturgie Dylan. Have you had much luck with the springers lately? I think I am done watching paint dry. I'm gonna wait until we can chase the silvers in the big blue this year. Are you going out Friday? I have an early morning apt. then I plan to hit Cathedral about 10:30 or so. Maybe I'll see ya out there.
