Spent some time out on the water today with no luck. Stopped at Meldrum Bar on the way home. My oldest son was there and plunking. Very slow. Headed home, got to Sherwood and cell phone rang. Son caught one about 10-12 #. Will be home later and I will try to get picture and post it. He has been putting in the hours after work so he deserves it.

Saw about 6 fish today, but the little gal at the ramp said they counted about a fish/boat, and some boats had 2-4.??? Don't know where they came from. Saw the "Jammin" man release one. I was hopin the high tides would push a bunch of fish. Maybe they will yet. Dead day for us too. Killed some bait.ha Alot of positive there!!

Pretty Slow today. Fished from 6 to 3 from just below Meldrum down to L.O. We had 4 takedowns, 3 to the boat, and one keeper. One of the two with the extra fin was between 25 and 28 lbs. Pretty nice day on the water. Wish the fish had cooperated better.
Jennie. Was that you leaving the Cedaroaks ramp about 3:00 today? We were just coming to the dock when I saw the red sled w/ Ifish.net on the back. I was going to try and catch you to say Hi, but you were on your way out.

Yip, that was me.
Can I back that trailer or what?
We didn't do anything. Well, Bill released a very large finned fish.
No keepers.
Friend of ours wife caught a nice one today. Three days, three fish for her, every time wearing the ifish hat!!!
Checker said 6 fish for 30 boats. However, just as we were leaving the checker said a boat was coming in with 6 keepers.
Guess that wasn't you?
 Jen

Wasn't our boat. We didn't see that much action out of any of the boats in that area. From the sounds of it we should have been there wednesday afternoon......
Story of my fishing life....

I fished Thursday from daylight to 7:30 am and saw 2 fish caught in the OC area. I fished the same hours today and saw 1 fish caught :depressed:
Lots of poles in the OC area, with very very few fish being caught in the morning. :depressed:
I think I will head to the coast this weekend and see if I cant catch a springer.

Fished OC from 3pm to 7pm. The line of 4 boats I was in had 6 takedowns and 3 fish. I as usual had none, the boat next to me had 4 TD's and 2 fish. Everyone was fishing prawns and spinners.

Thanks for that help Bait of eggs. I just can't seem to catch on to the posting of pics. I read the sheet, do it that way and a big blank space appears. He has worked hard at getting this fish. When he gets off work, he stops there to try every chance he gets. I am glad to see him finaly get one. thanks again.

Hawg:
When you posted that URL you put in the www.ifish.net (http://www.ifish.net) in twice. That's why it didn't work.

We fished the Cedar Oaks area last evening. Wow was it slow, we did not see one fish caught. We had one hard takedown @ 9 PM, didn't hook up, and we had the river all to ourselves then, DARN!!!
