Hello,

My brother-in-law works for a Portland area company that promotes team building outings. He was put in charge of selecting something for a group of 10, and somehow he picked a fishing trip.
The day they have available is Thursday, June 6th. He says they have a budget in the $800 to $1000 range. He also said that they probably wouldn't want to drive much further than Garibaldi or Astoria.

I asked if he is worried about people with seasickness problems  - and he said it is not an issue.

Any ideas? I guess to get 10 people in one boat rules out Springer fishing on the Clackamas with Dave Johnson.
Maybe an ocean salmon/bottom fishing trip? Suggestions for reputable guides/charters appreciated.

Everyone should have such problems!

Thanks,
Pete

You might be able to get a couple guides to team up and anchor next to each other for an oversize sturgeon trip at bonni.... just an idea...

Go shad fishing at Bonneville. Get two guide boats, anchor next two each other, and bet quarters on next fish. You'll have a blast.

You might consider a charter ... there are some Very Good Charters (http://www.ifish.net/chgudirectory.html) listed on the front page of Ifish! I'd give them my first consideration if you want to take out a group of 10.
