Halibut season opens soon and was wondering if anyone is going to go fishing out of Newport for Halibut on opening weekend if the weather permits. It is a blast pulling up a big ol' flatfish.

Also there is an E mail list called PacNWsalt. You can contact Threemuch who is the admin for that group and he will send you a link to sign up with. This email list is an open conversation between about 70 saltwater sport fishers who share info and fish in packs.
