How many people out there have lost there absolute favorite, can't live without, fish slaying lure this season? My buddy called me last night in tears because he had lost his "magic" lure at the bottom of the Willamette. The thing is that he had only used it on the Columbia. By using it on the Willamette, he felt like he was cheating on it so it "left" him. Lets here some stories.

I have'nt lost my lure, but I lost my touch. In the past 3 almost 4 weeks I have been hardly able to hook a fish, have'nt landed any in this period of time. :depressed: I've been jinxed!!!

I lost my best Alvin on a snag at the mouth of the Sandy in the Columbia last year. It had more hash marks than any lure I own. I tried for 20 minutes to free it. I almost strapped the scuba gear on my wife.

Oh well.

LOL - fishguy.... thanks - a mourning ceremony will be held at 3:30pm today. Please do not send money to the family - donations may be sent to Ifish...

I seriously almost started crying last night when I lost her.... k15 pearl and green - its put 7 fish in the boat this year and lost a couple more - it only had half its paint left from so many teeth scrapes across it... and that wonderful worn circle that the snap rubs into it only after catching a fish... she lived a short but active life - and was always so giving.... but very smelly - sardine like almost

Looks like I’ll have to go through another case of them till I find the next one w/ magic....

Having never had such a lucky lure, I have never lost such a thing.

One black and gold #7 sinking Rapala is pretty much the same as the next one.
