Willamette River (to fish or not to fish)

Well I decided to start this thread and see if anyone was interested in what I have learned fishing the Willamette for over 20 years now. Mostly I have been in the Oregon City area. Did some fishin in the Columbia this spring. Different but the same too. I have fished from the bank and from a boat both. So if I can help anyone plese let me know. I can help maybe with the where and how, the rest is up to the fish.
I'm going out tommorrow, going to fish the water where it splits off for the channel. was there last wed.(day off). Saw many caught, partner had a real good take. No fish by the end of the day but, learned alot. Guess it was another day of payin dues. New area for me this year. I'll let ya'll know how we do tommorrow.

Mikie, 20 years and your just now getting around to Fred's? They ALWAYS have the best fishing reports!!! Not always a lot of fish, but darn upbeat reports. Remember, that's Fred's Marina folks, where the fish are all pretty, the fishermen are all lucky and....wait a minute...that should read, the fishermen are all pretty and the fish are all lucky. No that's sure not right either.
