Spent a few days camping and fishing off of sand island for the season end. Me and my middle son (Matt) fished on Thursday, added my oldest son (Trevor) on Friday and picked up my freind (Tim) on Saturday. We fished until Sunday afternoon and ended up with roughly 25 fish. We were able to keep 10 fish ranging from 10-20lbs. Lost a handful and missed a bunch of takedowns. Here are a few pics of our spoils.

It was nice to see Jellyhead, Dogfish boy, fishguts and his fellow WA angling crew pounding sand also.
Thanks also fishguts for tipping us off on that celestial sattelite show. My kids got a real kick out of it. :smile:

Looks like a great weekend, wish mine had been 1/4 that good.

caught a beaut of a springer saturday ,plunking on the bar below woodland. 19 lbs,hen feel real lucky as there was no other fish caught an lots of plunkers. :grin: :shocked:

Thanks guys for the kind words, but remember even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. It was fun, now it's time to work....Yuk!
My wife bought a big chest freezer for me a couple years ago and bought me a foodsaver last christmas. Very good investments even though I'm going broke buying rolls of bags.

wow, good job! I think I'm gunna trade my boat for a pole holder to stick in the sand!

Our end of the Island was pretty quiet.
I have heard that comment "Pound Sand" used in different ways :tongue:
