graemlins/1zhelp.gif Does anyone out there in Ifishland remember certain dates. 1.) Dates of cessation of flow on the following rivers by dam. Santiams, Clackamas, Molalla, McKenzie, Willamette, Sandy.
2.) Dates of completion of fish ladders for those dams.
I would be grateful if someone could give any info they might have. I could spend a lot of time searching for this info in old files somewhere, but laziness has caught up with me and I find myself turning to others for help.

Brine,

If I'm not mistaken, segments of each of those rivers were included in the Federal Wild & Scenic Rivers program. A river management plan for each respective section was produced after detailed analysis and lengthy public input.

Within the analysis section, generally a historical overview is given and details about dam construction and fish passage found.

These plans were developed by the land-owning agency, The US Forest Service (the Molalla may be BLM). These plans may be available at the USFS Region 6 website, or at the district website where each river is located.

You could also call the fish bio at each USFS district.

I'm afraid you'll have to do some of the work.

Garyk,
Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a shot. If I find anything I'll post my results.
