Meldrum Bar?

I stopped at Meldrum bar last night and checked water clarity. I talked to a buddy who I found fishing on the bank, and he said it was a real slow day on the bank.

Him along with everbody else I saw reel in was using watermellon spin glo, and few had prawns under it.

I was kind of surprised to see the weeds they gathered on their line, check your bait once in a while, as it will gather junk on it.

We did see a boat release a wild fish in front of us while I was there BS'ing.

BTW - visibility was about 2 feet.

I really don't care if I catch anything, just need to get out and enjoy the weather before I go nuts staring at a computer.

Right now I am about ready to bounce off the walls. I need a dose of sunshine and water.

Am heading for the bar today at 3, anyone have any helpor tips for a 1st time bankie?
I think I have all the spin glo's I need, have the watermelon and a several others that were suggested.

Any suggestions on bait?

Any one else going to be out there this afternoon/evening?
