Hey, you guys have accomplished so much thru your posts here that maybe you should just cancel the work and have a big party instead!!!! So I'm curious, what is this workgroup and what do you guys do, I've never heard of it before.

this is the information I have...

As part of the Commission action to proceed with development of a wild Nestucca Winter steelhead broodstock the Commission directed the Department to initiate a workgroup to devise a study design to evaluate the two stocks (Alsea & Nestucca). The design is to address number and location of smolt releases of each type broodstock, specifics of research / monitoring in addition to what is being currently collected, and a proposal for securing funding for additional research/monitoring. The group will be made up of ODFW staff from region and Fish Division, other interested groups (Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation, Watershed council, Steelheader’s, etc.), other agencies (BLM, USFS, etc.), and members of the public

I do not think you will find any news release from ODFW concerning this meeting. My understanding is the last thing staff wants is the public to be there, kind of sad huh?

Mine was out of the Tillamook Headlight Hearld . You'll have to check with ODFW to see what other papers it was listed in.
