Went to SS beach on Sauvie Island again this morning at dawn. Was back home by 8:00 with this beauty.
Thought at first it was a wild fish, because it fought like a brute! It really tore up and down the beach, and did 3 or 4 big line peeling runs =).

Wow great fish Matt!! I was out there yesterday again the whole day but didnt get anything. My turn will come soon I hope. Cool fish.

Matt, to bad you didn't get it weighed in at one of the check stations. That looks like it could be big enough to win the big springer contest. I believe 22# is currently top spot right now. I've got a question. Does floatilla weigh in count? The fish that win are going to be autopsied and we only get one shot at weighing them.
