Use the search feature for "razor clams". We have had extensive discussions lately.

I'm going to Seaside for quick limits. Sorry don't know the Lincoln city beaches.....The tide is a 0.0 and that low or lower all week!

Washington has a six day season starting, so Long beach will also be open.

I see people clam in the Siletz bay but don't know if they get razors or not. At low tide it is one big sand flat.

We went this morning :depressed: After limits the last time it was SLOW today. Howling wind, packed sand and a storm surge that kept the water up, made for poor clamming. The beach was about barren of people. Hope the conditions are better for you tomorrow.

I got my limit a Gearhart, but it wasn't easy. The shows were terrible. I stomped and stomped, nothing moved. Just as the tide started to come back in, they started to show, just a 1/4-1/2" dimple in the sand. Tough digging with a tube, as you said the beds were packed pretty tight.

In Oregon, the season is closed from July 15th to around Oct 1st.
We have never stomped in our lives and we still
get our clams.

According to the book, I read that:

Closed to RAZOR CLAMS only in Clatsop County beaches north of Tillamook head between July 15-Sept 30.

This means its only razor clams.

Waters are open all year, 24 hours per day except as noted under OTHER SPECIFICATIONS or Special Regs.
I always take my book with me. Its a very good idea.

Hope this helps folks out there.
