How is Willamette For Bank fishing????

I was only there for about 45 minutes at the boat ramp and saw one hooked/landed by a sled not to far out from the bank, they were back trolling not anchored. I talked with a few of the folks down there on the bank and they said there had been a few caught earlier in the morning (I was there about 10:30). The catch has been both steelhead and nooks from what I was told.

Cool, thanks. Just hope we're able to do it. We're not really set up for plunkin as far as rod weight goes. Just set up for drift fishing. This should be fun. Who know's, we could start a new trend. :grin:

Wanted to try for the springers again, But this time I have no boat. So far I have only gotten one 20# Nate this year(from the boat). Is there any good spots from the bank near Milwaukee/Sellwood area or even the lower Clack? Siter-inlaw is getting ticked :mad: that we keep bringing steelhead home(guess you can't please em all graemlins/berry.gif ). My brother and I need to get some Nookies. Any info would help

I was at Meldrum Bar last Saturday to just watch for awhile and there was plenty of open spots. There was also plenty of room above Meldrum to the mouth of the Clack.
