When does this fishery peak? Anyone bold enough to share reports are the only people that fish it local rednecks :wink: I haven't been down but want to give it a try this year. E-mail me off-forum if you don't want to give up your secrets.

I have fished this a few time and frankly haven't done very well. I do know people that live down there that do ok however. As far as information try talking to the people at the store/gas station in Knappa. They generally know what is going on. If you are bank fishing the best bet is the railroad bridge at the mouth of Big Creek or the park up river. In the Slough itself I have seen fish caught by the private boat ramp were Gnat Creek enters the slough and at the mouth of Big Creek. Personally I think there are better places to fish. Especially if you are traveling any distance to get there. Keep in most of the fish are net pen fish and can be a bit rough.
