Maybe I just missed it but I havent seen any updates lately as to whats going on?
The last update on the Broodstock page was from the 27th. Any info out there?

WE have put in a STEP proposal to take over the Brood Stock Program if they close the Hatcherys. They will let us know some time in May If they will allow that to happen. In the mean time they(ODFW) will spawn the fish on hand, and take care of the eggs. They will not take in any more fish. We are still taking in funds and volunteers in case we have to take over the program.. We have smolts in the Hughey Crek tank on the Wilson and are rounding up people to feed then on a daily basis. We still are hoping that Salem will come through with funding. Or should I say we are hoping the Governer will stay out of it and let the Leg. do what we elected them to do. You can send checks to Tillamook Angler 7510 Trask River Road, Tillamook OR 97141. This will be split between Wilson And Nestuca BBrood stock. If we do not have to run the program, them you will have a choice or reciving your check back or allowing it to be used to off set the cost of the Whickey Creek volunteer Hatchery or the Rose Pond hatchery on the Nestuca. thank you for your concern. Don't forget April 13th fin clipping at the Whiskey Creek Hatchery.
