CATCH AND EAT
04-02-2002, 09:10 PM
Pop's and I fished with David today at Zipperlip location for Springers. He swore us keep it a secret. So I cannot tell you where. Also on the Boat were two other i-fishers Scott B. and Jeff W. (sorry if I got it wrong Jeff  )
Here is the run down of the days events. Anchored up at a secret time and place. Waited for the tide change to happen. It did. And we began fishing.
Catch And Eat, that's me  got the first fish of the day. Beauty Native around 13#'s. Second fish, my rod again, I did a hand off to Pop's. Bang, a keeper in the boat. BTW That fish now resides as filets in the freezer Geezer.
Now we move on to Pop's. Of course after I do a good deed his rod goes off. Another nice keeper. Then his silly rod goes off again. Can you say "tackle failure" :hoboy: Sorry Dave, could'nt resist.
Then it was Scotts turn. A real nice 15#r and a 19#r. Great job Scott!
Jeff, dude the effort was made but sometimes, it just happens. Just so everyone knows, Pop's did try to hand one off to Jeff but he is a real man. No handoff's for this brave soul. Very Admirable Jeff. I don't think I could have said no. I'm to competitive.
Nice to meet both of you guys and hope to see you on the rivers again.
David.....You Rock Dude!!!!!! Thanks for a great day of hard work. We kept you busy and you earned you pay.
In other entertaining news. Those of you that fish near Uncle Bob be sure to place your order for brauts fresh off the BBQ. Killer dude. Thanks for the grub and the additional laughs at your expense. he he he he.
Ok, here it is, If you have not fished with David I suggest you do it. He is an awesom guide and great natured. Thanks again for a great day of Springers.!!!
