WELL,We fished for about 6 hrs.at Reed island today and saw two fish caught one kept the other released.Talked to a friend tonight that was at the wdfw today,said he was talking to a fish biologist and askled him where the fish are.
The person said there was a fairly large secondary run of smelt in the Cowlitz river and that the springers were hanging around the mouth stuffing themselves on smelt.SOO if this is true we've got some fat and happy fish comeing our way.(soon,I hope),I just wish they'ed get here !!.
