Just a heads up for everyone. Fisherman's at Delta park had quite a bit of Green Label herrring this morning. They also had the brand new lighted K-13's. These things are awesome. No batteries to change. They're built like the Sadu strobes, and have a red LED light in them. I can't wait to try them out.

For those of you who live on the other side of town, Joe's also has the same selection.

Luhr Jensen makes em. No batteries is a great idea, if you've ever had to fish with a VORTEX, you'd know what I mean. Buying a set of batteries for a vortex will run you about 5-6 bucks, and they don't hold up for crap. When one of these k-13's runs out of battery, you just have a k-13. Nine bucks is cheap, if they hold up and work like I think they will. How many 9 dollar alvins has everyone bought? You just have to take care of them and they will last.

.........you buy a new lure. The light only flashes when water completes the circuit. Supposedly these batteries have a 400 hour life. That means approximately 50 full fishing days out of one lure. Not too bad. $9 is a bit steep though. Nevertheless, I got three of them yesterday. Springers get in the boat!

Aaron, the lighted K-13 really sounds interesting. Today I went to Sportsco in Fife, WA. They said they had received a whole case, but a river guide bought them all. Don't know when they are going to get any in. Also, G.I. Joes never heard of them. Looks like I will have to wait and see if any show up in WA State. Let me know if they catch fish. Ken <*\\\><

Lite fish, are also sold at these stores. They come in size 14 and 15, with a red light or green.Yes they do have batteries but you are able to turn them off by removeing the battery, and they well take a wrap and swim with plenty of action...check them out
