I have purchased sand shrimp from Tilamook Bait but haven't used the scent. What's best for steelhead? Springers? How do you apply it? Would it be good for spinners and plugs?
Thanks for your time,

MM,
I used Marie's shimp scent this year for winter steelhead and it kicked a$$. Almost every steelhead I hooked this winter I had used her shrimp scent on my drift rig. I also use it for springer on my diver and bait (sand shrimp) set-ups. I went down to fisherman's and bought a bait injector (comes with a plastic bottle and a cap with a needle in it). The cap that come with the kit with the needle in it fits on the bottle from Marie, if not simply pour it into the bottle that come with the kit. I think the kit only cost 3-4 bucks. I inject Marie's scents right into the sand shrimp until it oozes out after I have put the shrimp on my hook. I also plan to try her shrimp/prawn scent this season while trolling prawns, if it stays true to form it should work wonderfully.
Good luck,
JK

I don't know how many ifishers use Marie's scents but if they are not using them they are really missing the boat. Ive tried so many different scents that i can't count them and the only one's that seem to make a difference are from Marie's at Tillamook Bait. And i don't get paid for saying this. Cagey

There has been some days on the coast when her shrimp scent is all the fish wanted.

Great stuff, i just got some. But I went out to the jetty for some rock fish. I ran out of shrimp, so I put some yarn on and a little shrimp scent and still caught fish I thought that was great. Can't wait to try it on steelhead :-)

Sounds great. Does Marie make anything sticky enough for spinner and plugs? Or, is the scent sticky enough?
Thanks,
Mark

The shrimp scent is the best you can buy! Although at almost $50 per pint it should be!
