To whom it may concern:
Today I fished Kelly Point with my neighbor. If you were there, I would like to say I'm sorry for this knot heads behavior. He's old, grumpy, and sometimes rude. So, if it was you, please accept my apoligy.
When I'm fishing in my boat, you will not have an issue with the way I anchor.
Enough said, I'm Sorry!

Very thoughful post Uncle Bob.

I have a friend like that too, grumpy, inconsiderate and spends the whole day telling you whats wrong with the ?&%$#! government and the ?&%$#! fish and game people. I don't hunt or fish much with him anymore, it's too depressing.

Regards,

Mark

Yeah, I had to clear the air.
And let those who might have been there know, it wasn't my fault.

Hey UB, a guy you have to apologize for is not much of a fishing buddy ... but you knew that already.

What is it with boat buddies anyway? Harder to find a good fishing bud than it is to find a spouse.

I hear you Pilar. My fishing partner doesn't like to fish for steelhead! It is almost like finding out that your wife is gay!!! :depressed:  Well he did buy a 17'10" Northriver last week so maybe I will forgive him.

Wait, are you saying that you'd look down upon your wife if you found out that she liked to be with other women?

No!
I look down on my fishing partner because he doesn't like to fish for real fish (steelhead).
I booked two seats on a drift boat on the Rogue a few years back (my dime) and he couldn't go, some BS excuse like his daughters wedding  ( my wife took pictures and I helped with all of the little things so Bill could just focus on the wedding  ). Some people have their priorities all messed up!

Ok , Yaquina Bay a couple of weeks ago. Saw one of you anchor and then drag your anchor backwards around the bay. "now that is a funny way to stir up the crab". Also the hooks on the anchor were to big for those herring.

Very entertaining  Could you teach me this technique? I have never tried it. Hummm....... Now, can this be done in a hog line on the columbia? I can see how it would be effective in clearing out all the boats in a hole I want to fish. graemlins/idea.gif On second thought, I will just stay with the traditional method so I do not get into an graemlins/icon_argue.gif with someone. Caught Ya!!!!
