I am not doing well today!
I should just get up, walk away from the computer, and flush my head twice down the toilet.
I just deleted my entire inbox, and then promptly hit the empty trash button!
So.... If you wrote me something important, please... please, resend!

Hey Jen, I just tried that with the inbox on my desk. I dumped the whole thing into the 'Magic Cylinder'. My cube mate tells me that it is magic because when I come back tomorrow it will all be gone. No problem...
Cheer up Jen, you can only do so much and there will be another day

If you just did it, you should be able to pull it back. Did it ask you if you wanted to delete the
whole folder...maybe someone around here can tell
you how to get it back....they say it is never
totally deleted.... graemlins/1zhelp.gif graemlins/1zhelp.gif graemlins/1zhelp.gif

It's not "totally deleted" but it can be a real pain to get it back ... is this "Outlook" or what mail client?
Is it really worth the effort? If it was that important, you would have BACKUP graemlins/idea.gif

OUTLOOK? I would never use that! Sorry, Bill...
Anyway, no, it is Eudora.
I don't think I lost anything worth the trouble of going through what I think I'd have to go through.
No big.

Dont'cha just love how these machines make our lives easier?
The only comfort we have is that every one of us (that is willing to admit it) has made similar mistakes. I bet even ****** has made a few in his days (and I think there are a LOT of days for him  )
Having good IT friends or relatives comes in really handy now'a days.
Been there, done that. Good luck!

Well, I'm not up to date on the Eudora world - not sure where/how it stores the inbox. If you have any kind of "undelete" utility, you might just look and see what's available. It might just make your troubles worse to start playing with that junk ... say good riddance - e-mail ... it's all temporary ... everything is.
