Sturgeon Derby this saturday

Hey all you I Fishers, who is in the derby this year and how have you been doing ? I fished today, no money fish, 1 48 and 1 55, It will take more than that to place unfortunately, but I think I know where I want to fish.

This year there is a change of venue for the banquet, no longer at the Vancouver Elks, but I have a suggestion. Lets plan to meet in the back of the hall, opposite corner from where the DJ is set up. IF in doubt, go ask the DJ, I'm sure that Eric will use the same gal that he has used for many years, so if we coordinate with her, she can direct us to a meeting area. She is very nice and a great person, so I know that she will help. I'm sure that she will set up in the front somewhere as that is what she always had done.

Another suggestion is if we write IFISH on our table numbers, then we can identify the tables where we are all sitting.

We can meet, tell a few stories and have a drink together after a great day. Anybody up for a side bet among all the i fishers for largest fish?

Ya, I'm in the second wave and not real happy about it. It isnt a matter of having less time, because we get to weigh in later, it is a matter of all the prime spots being taken when we get there. :depressed: :depressed:

I prefished with the team yesterday. It was nice for us to get together and actually spend some time getting a routine down.

I know there are fishing stories, and there are fishing stories, but Waterdog released 2 keepers yesterday. :shocked: :shocked: :shocked: For those that dont believe me, I dont know what to say to convince you. :rolleyes: They werent even hand offs. :wink:

We fished a lot of miles of river and know where some fish are, and where they are not. Lets hope it dont change between now and saturday.

Fishbait, seeing as wave 2 launches at vancouver, I assume we weigh in at vancouver. I doubt I see you at the weigh ins. But you can buy me my first victory beer at the dinner later :wink:
