The wife and I just got back from dipping smelt on the Cowlitz. We dipped two limits in just a few minutes. Took about 4 or 5 dips per limit. We were below Carnival Market. Hardly anyone was out dipping this morning.
On the way up and back, I couldn't believe the number of gulls on the Lewis. Far more than on the Cowlitz.
