Fished the Kelley Point area today and despite the "slow" reports, we ended up doing pretty good. I stayed away from the punchbowl and fished the shelves with the most current. We ended up putting 22 fish on the boat including 2 keepers (46 and a 45 inch.) I am going to be pretty tight lipped (for now) about the exact location because I saw a boat put three huge springers on his boat about 100 yards away from me. The biggest nook he slammed was a 25 pound monster. I plan on hitting that spot bright and early in the morning for a little sturgie and nookie combo. I'll post results tomorrow night....

Can you tell us how deep of water the guy who cought the spriners was in? Also what he was
using for bait?

Hookem,
I went over and graphed the area. It was 28 feet deep and they were using what looked to be rainbow color spinners. They were fishing for about an hour and a half and put 3 on the boat and lost another at the net. I saw about 10 seals in the river today, one eating the belly out of a nice nook :mad:

You hear that WaterDog, NOOKS!!!
