Two fish in the last 15 minites.
I have a house accross from the Cider iland
boat ramp, and have a good view of the river.
I'm sitting in my living room watching the
Daytona 500 and the boats in the river.
2 fish in the last 15 or 20 minites!
Last year I did'nt see a fish cought
untill the middle of March. They must be
in eary this year!

The ceder Iland boat ramp is about 1/2 mile
down river from Milldrum bar and boat ramp.
Lots of boats out today, guides too.
Last year I did'nt see nearly as many people
out this early. The water is droping and looks
very good. Shoud be a good year.

My folks live down off River Forest. There is a ramp down the hill from Oak Grove. Is that the ramp?

I live in Oak Grove just off River road, on
Rothie Place. Accross the river from me is
West Linn, and Ceder Iland ramp is there.
I can see the hog lines of willow tree and #19
and the trollers down river from there.

Hookem,
Hi, my wife and I ran into yesterday at GI Joes. We were out at Cedar Oaks area this afternoon. We didn't see any action while we were out, but the river sure was in great shape. Do you have a boat? If not, send me an e-mail and I'll see if we can work out an afternoon thing in the coming weeks as the season gets better.
Jett in' Fool,
The ramp is on the West side of the river. On Hwy 43, across from Zupans, is Cedar Oaks Blvd. You turn down there, and go past the school, then follow the sigs to the Cedar Oaks boat ramp. It is beautiful facility, with double wide ramp, lots of parking, and rest rooms. It is heavily used in peak season, but great fishing right out from the ramp!!
