STZ II and myself went and fished the Willamette today, below Meldrum Bar. We didn't catch a fish, but we did catch a plastic Albertson's bag. Wish you guys up river would keep track of things like that. It scared my neighbor when her rod went down. She thought she had a fish. I told her only Larry Schoenborn catches fish like that. Deffinately got the blood pumping.

So it looks like the Lami rod will be taken now. I guess I can put up the Salmon gear for a couple of weeks now. Just wanted to get in on some the nice prizes. Just can't get the luck to go along with me I guess.

Don't feel bad....******, Jan and I went to the Scappoose area. Not even an Albertson's bag with us, but we DID see a nice one boated...estimated to be about a 25 pounder...clipped too. Hope he isn't an Ifisher. Water's looking better. Was it crowded in the O.C. area today?? There were sure lotsa boats out there yesterday!!

hey FM. We only saw 3 other boats down there and only about a half-a-dozen up around Meldrum. Of course you know as well as I do that just cause you don't see them doesn't mean they are not there.

Friend of mine was sturgeon fishing today instead of Salmon and he hit 2 keeper sturgeon, down below Cedar Oaks.

We fished the StHelens area today. Caught one and released same. Lot of boats, several shakers but did not see a fish put in the boats all day long.

Fished St Helens too for sturgeon. 13 shakers for 14 baits, no keepers. Another boat had 18 shakers and no keepers. Saw two small keepers along side one boat. Other than that, it seemed like a nursery.
