Thank you

Thats just it L x W x H for square gas tanks. Measure in feet. Any left over inches convert to decimal by dividing by 12. So if it is 1 foot 8 inches high, divide 8 by 12 and add to one you get 1.67 feet for hieght. and you will get a little error for round corners. Then multiply the lenght width and hieght. That wil give the Cubic feet of volume. Multiply that by 7.4805 and that is the number of gallons your tank holds.

Length" x width" x height" /1728 = cubic feet
Length' x width' x height' = cubic feet
cubic feet x 7.4805196 = gallons
12" x 12" x 12" = 1728
1728/1728 = 1 cubic foot
1 x 7.4805196 = 7.4805196 gallons

if you want to find gallons you do , lenght x width x height divided by 231 to get gallons. remember the lenght, height, wight must be in "
example 36"x13"x15"= 7020 divided bye 231 =30.34 gallons

I'm not as smart as you other fellers....... I just look at the little numbers on the gas pump when I fill er up.
