Anybody hit Kelly Point T-6 the last two days? We did and I think Tacklebuster took all da fishies. Actually, I've never seen the bite so bad and I think it's been an issue of timing. With kids and work, we've hit the area at 11 AM the last two days. We moved better than six times from T-6 - across to Washington Side - Kelly Point - et al. No sturgies.
Today was tough. 15 to 20 east wind, heavy chop and we didn't see anyone hauling them in. Boats were moving constantly just battling the conditions. Not even a bite in three different areas. Where did all the Sturgeon go?

Well, it's not just you. Fished all afternoon in some of my usual productive spots and got zipped. 2 shakers is all we landed for 5 hours fishing. The fish are there, but they acted like they had no appitite. Light bites that seemed like they were playing but not eating. Who knows, but it sure turned off fast. Did talk to one guy at the ramp who had a couple at T6 but that's all I heard of or saw.

Steve, what happend?
My folks were out today an could only muster 6 shakers. Should make for an interesting derby if this keeps up.
Bait, arent you supposed to be in Tillamook explaining where all the extra pounds came from?

I don't actually know Rich, but, I have one plausable idea. It happens when the springers start running. The closer I get to springer season the worse my luck gets. By the middle of May I'm ready to give up fishing all together. Thank god, along come Shad and I can catch something again..... Sound familiar Roy?

Man fellows, I was thinking about hitting it on Monday but now I'm having second thoughts  I had a couple of buddies fish it on Thursday and Friday and posted about the same results. Tell ya my 2 cents worth.... Gorge Time graemlins/idea.gif
If Steve isn't doing any good in his spots, that tells me it's time to fish upriver. I sure would hate to show up Monday and get "WaterDogged" Just teasin good buddy.
