Has anyone been fishing the Kalama recently and can provide some insight as to whether it is worth the trip up there? What about the Washougal?

From everything I've been hearing the washougal is slow most of the fish are in the upper river above the steel bridge and you need to know some one up there to get permission to fish up there.Its private property and they won't let you in unless they know you well !!I don't know anyone up there to help you.
