Crabs this weekend

Hey Kurt, try the backside of the South Jetty across the channel from Lysters tackle. The easiest way to find it is to go to Crab Harbor and then around Kincheloe Pt. Head Northwest towards the rock jetty and find 30' of water. From there down to the corner was really good. Watch your pots since the current is strong there and may take them away.

Other place is south from Crab harbor at the north end of the west channel. I fished the usual hole way down the west channel and did poorly until I moved back towards Crab harbor.

Bring your own bait Kurt, they have none worth mentioning in Garibaldi, since the charters are not fishing.

WE should change the name to no-crab harbor. Years ago when I was a young lad we used the crab back there and did well. Now hardly anybody crabs there. It seems that the harbor has filled in.

I think the Threemuch II maiden voyage will be in Tillamook for crabs this weekend unless we get torrential downpours in the next couple days. If that happens, maybe sturgeon. Hopefully it just spits like it has been, I think the crabs will be in.

Pilar, where did you say the hot spot was a few weeks back?
