Help?!? Overbooked, usual lodging full

Hi. Out of desperation I'm asking for help. My Dad is visiting from Alabama in late Feb. 22, 23, 24 and I can't find a decent place to stay near Newport. I did not realize that the Seafood and Wine Festival would jam the place up so bad.

If it was just me I'd sleep on the floor at 'Puffins' usual digs in Gleneden beach. My Dad won't go for that.

If anyone has a line on a beach house or apartment we need it for the 22, 23 and 24th Feb. Anywhere from Yachats to Taft would work. No worries about the boat, it's staying at 'Puffins' place in Gleneden Beach.

You might try the Inn at Spanish Head. About 1 mile north of Taft, It is a condo hotel, so most rooms have kitchens. 800.452.8127 Our favorite place on the coast, nice views, great pool and hot tub. Lots of parking for my boat.

If you ever need a place up north on the Long Beach penninsula let me know. I've got one empty most of the time and you would be welcome. Sorry I can't help with this one.
