I just read on another board that the spring salmon season is open from the bar to the I-5 bridge on the Columbia. Does anyone know if that is the straight skinney?

Looks like the good skinny to me.
Columbia River:
1. Buoy 10 line upstream to a line projected from Rocky Point on the Washington bank through red buoy 44 to the navigation light at Tongue Point on the Oregon bank.
• Closed for trout.
• Open for adipose fin-clipped steelheadJan. 1-March 31 and Aug. 1-Dec. 31.
• Open for adipose fin-clipped chinook salmonand and adipose fin-clipped coho salmon Jan. 1-March 31
• Open for chinook salmon and adipose fin-clipped cohoAug. 1-Dec. 31, except only adult chinookand adult adipose-clipped coho salmonmay be kept Aug. 1-Sept. 30.
• Minimum sizes for adult salmonare 24 inches for chinookand 16 inches for coho.
• The Columbia River South Jetty is open to salmonfishing seven days a week
when the fall Buoy 10 or adjacent ocean salmonfishery is open. Before Aug. 1
barbless hooks are required.
