Same here Jen...we had a total of 12 before yesterday. Probably started the day off with 6" and it has been snowing hard for about 2 hours. Time to go deliver some smoked salmon though, have a great day!

Sorry but this is the way I feel about snow. I wrote this last night just thinking about it.

Snowfall

The snow softly falls,
My yard turns to white.
It hides the green grass,
Completely out of sight.

It falls so slowly,
yet the flakes pile so deep.
Soon it has grown,
Into a huge heap.

Into the shed I go,
A shovel I must find.
If I don't do it soon,
I know I'll be in a bind.

I shovel and shovel,
With all of my might.
Working so hard,
long into the night.

It keeps on falling,
covering the ground.
Now that heap has grown,
Into a big mound.

I collapse from exhaustion,
Just a tired old pile.
My neighbor is covering his face,
He has a big smile.

He laughs and he crows,
Slapping his knee.
He starts his sno-blower,
and cackles with glee.

No judge would find me guilty,
for strangling that man.
Or running him over,
with my big Ford van.

But I simply give up,
and go back inside.
Telling my spouse,
That I really had tried.

Ten more inches, I hear,
when the radio I tune.
To heck with all that,
I'm flying to Cancun.

Hardley a snow flake here in the last few days...but we still have about 2.5 feet on the ground.

Funny, but I still like to watch it snow even if I know that I have to get the snow blower out in the morning. :cool:

Monday morning, 5:30am minus 10 degrees. Tuesday morning, 6am 0 degrees. 3 feet in my front yard, no new. Had some ice fog this morning.
What fun. :rolleyes:
