Just thought I would post the trip that we took to Detroit on MLK Day. Very snowy day to say the least. Hit snow at Mill City. Got to the ramp and cut tracks going in. Solid 6-8 inches of snow. Walked down to the ramp to check out the conditions and they were OK(with 4wd of course). Put in and started marking fish, the fish were suspended at any were from 20-35 ft. ClamBreath caught 1 and I had a couple of hits. Then we decided to troll, but the wind and driving snow was to much to bear and decided to leave. Only stayed for about 2 hours. It was fun to get out but would have like to use my kitchen pass for a better day on the water. We'll get them next time. Still looking for a drift boat. If any of you hear of a killer deal I'm looking for one just about the time the springers come in on the S. Santiam. Chow
