Not being an avid egg fisherman or very knowledgable in the subject, how do you tie your egg loops? I did a search and came up with this, http://www.ifish.net/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=15&t=001120
I already tie these for my sturgeon and salmon rigs, but saw some pre-tied ones at the store the other day that were similiar, but much different. They didn't use the hole on the end of the hook to start the wrap and the wrap was down on the bend of the hook. I tried to tie a few of these up this morning using my knowledge of the standard egg loops, but couldn't come up with anything that worked. Anybody have a link with pictures? Are they any better or even worth the hassle?

I know the hook set up your talking about, I wondered about them also so I asked a friend. The Info he gave me was that the line will slide up the first fish or snag you get. I did not try them so I am just passing on Info.

I think piscatorialpursuits.com has a diagram or video showing the egg loop.

You got it right. The best picture example was the link you searched at Bob's BB.

The pictures by Marty are also very good. I generally wrap 8 or so at top and about 6 at the bottom.
