Ok, maybe we should have signed up for todays events, but we wouldn't have made it to Busters on time anyways. Soooo, we fished the creek ( I actually didn't wet a line), and proceeded to hook up a whopping 20 or so times. The guy that was " In the Zone at Eagle Creek" continued his streak and added another 9 fish before 11 today. Including two natives. The other guy that would have been on my team landed another 5 himself, taking a nice 11# hen home.
We then slid my boat in at Carver around noon, and went on a little trip. Their arms were tired from the morning anyways, so a boat ride was in order. Well, two holes down, the second guy ( 5 morning fish), hooks and lands a very beautiful 12# Clackamas Broodstock buck that's cooking in my oven now. What a fish !! And a great afternoon with my buddies. Hopefully the weather holds for Sunday.
How did the actual particapants do ? We would've joined, but made our plans to fish at 5:00 am. F4 here we come
