Fished 2 rods near T-6 today with some pretty good results. The first spot we anchored up was pay dirt. We landed 25 fish or so with 2 keepers on a rope before we pulled anchor and headed for the house. It was nice to hit the fish on the first spot and not have to jump around to find them. There were quite a few people anchored off Kelley Point but I didn't see very many people standing up hammering fish. I talked to a few people but the atmosphere seemed pretty slow fishing wise. We had a great day without another boat within a couple hundred yards away  How did veryone else fair? There were a lot of boats out and about today so lets hear it....

nice job Tacklebuster, I love it when stuff goes right the first time.
What would you charge to take out waterdog and show him the basics?  Nothing fancy, just tying a hook and sinker and baiting. Setting the hook and reeling in a fish as a bonus would be good for his soul. He said he would take hand off anytime from anybody. He has been in a slump now for about 3 years and is talking about selling his boat and giving up fishing. :depressed: :depressed:

BOE,
I have been trying to take him out for months now but he is a busy man  I guess we just got lucky yesterday cause most that I talked to said the fishing was SLOW. I think the fish are moving around now so they wont be in the same spots as before.
I hope WaterDog doesn't sell that boat of his. Besides, that would curse the new owners and would ruin their sturgeon fishing  Just kidding WaterDog, I love your boat and would hate to see you gid rid of her. If you plan on going out Monday give me a buzz, I'll put you on some fish

Nice job Chris, but you better slow down and a save a few punches for Astoria.
Since I'm selling my boat  , are you interested? It can actually get on step with more than 2 people in it. Of course the top isnt neer as purdy as yours, but most people can stand up in it and not have to crawl.....

WD, I hope your not punching anything yet! And, don't take that! I seem to remember someone who was willing to take a handoff about mid-springer season last year!

SureSet,
I have not punched my tag yet  Although that will change in a couple of days or so. I don't think he was talking to me about my top or boat speed. I have a stand up top and my boat will do 55 with 2 or 3 people in it. I owe him a trip or two anyway cause he gave me some information last year that put me on a couple of nice nooks. I'll look for you on Monday. I will probably be in that spot below the green can
