Buddy and I went out today to the river...headlights went out on the way so parked on the side of the road till daylight..started out...then got the lights to work, and then about halfway over the hill smelled something electrical soooooo turned off the lights...sheeesh this made a short trip as came home early as were kinda nervous. Water was low but very fishible for light tackle. First cast of the day and year caught a runback on a glo-bug and then it was one other strike for my buddy. Saw two fish swimming in the river..one was real bright. Fished up by where the ol blinking light used to be on the crown road. Very few people.
